Jethro Tull’s fourth studio album, Aqualung was released in 1971. The songs on this album cover a variety of musical genres, including blues, psychedelic rock, folk and hard rock. Aqualung is Jethro Tull’s best selling album having sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Aqualung is included on Rolling Stone’s list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The album’s original cover art was painted by Burton Silverman. The idea for the cover came from a photograph of a homeless man taken by Ian Anderson’s wife. Silverman’s watercolor is of a long haired, bearded man in shabby clothes – Aqualung? The album cover is a wonderful piece of art, as well as a great piece of entertainment memorabilia. The framed album cover would be a welcome addition to the wall of any Jethro Tull fan.

The product measures 12 7/8 inches x 12 7/8 inches x 3/4 inch and weights approximately 3 lbs.

The item shown in the photograph is the actual album cover that you will receive. This is a vintage product and both the album cover and the record have signs of wear. This product is sold as a decorative collectible and not as a playable record album. As such there is no assurance that the vinyl record itself is in a condition that would allow you to enjoy the music if you played it.
